delay when opening WMM2

One more question ... when I open up WMM it takes a while before I am able
to start using it. it opens straight away ,,,, but windows timer appears for
about 30 seconds and only then the collection appears..

Harold,

At startup, MM2 goes thru all the source files in your
collections to check their status. As your collections
grow the time to check them at startup increases.

Hopefully this normal process is the reason.

I went through all my collection folders and deleted quite a few of them.
No more delay....
