Delay in Response

For a dew days now my PC seems to freeze or respond very slowly at times. This happens for instance when minimising a window or when trying to open an attachment to an email or when lloking at a Word document with tables or graphics in it. I use Windows XP Professional V 2002.
 
Hi,

Have you tested the speed issue in safe mode? If not boot into safe mode and test the speed is the machine runs normally please drop me an email and I will provide you with the troubleshooting steps to resolve this.
