Defragment Program Won't start

I have been using XP pro for a few years updating it over these years
Now my Defragment Program will not start or precisely error mesage
Defrag cannot initialize" when I use the defragmentation program.

You fellows out there can you give some idea on how to solve thi
fault. I ran out of ideas.

I manage to fix it by going to Andre's room, I change the Virtua
memory to be determined by system instead of custom
