Defrag

Hi ,
I have just done a clean install and put Windows XP Professional on,
before I had Win 2000 and before that Win 98, when I defragged in 98 and
2000 it was very fast, but on defragging on XP it takes forever, is there a
way to speed this up in XP. Thanks in advance. Jim

Hi Jim,

Try doing the scan and defrag in Safe Mode. Make sure you
disable the screen saver first.
