Defrag

I have recently deleted a load of photos and videos in order to free up space prior to defragging. However, after the defrag, I analysed the disk and it suggests I carry out a defrag!
What's happening here? Can anyone enlighten me?

I can't answer your question but I stopped using Windows defragger a
while back and started using this one http://shorterlink.com/?9GB9H6 it
is super fast compared to Windows.

Give it a try and then see what Windows says.

It's not unusual for defrags to require it be done more than once if the
disk is nearly full or the fragmentation is excessive. I routinely run a
second defrag if it's been very long since I ran the last one. Like chkdsk
et al, I run them until they no longer find anythying to do.

There are also instances where some un-movable files which can't be
defragged were put onto the disk when it was so fragged they'll always make
it say you should defrag, but that doesn't sound like the situation here.
Such cases can require a little extra work but can still be straightened out
easily.
