defrag

My drives are set as NTFS (versus fat32). When I'm done defragging, the resulting image still shows areas with fragmented files and/or areas that are non-contiguous. Is there a way to get a full defrag so that the files are no longer fragmented and that all blank areas are filled? Am I looking at this wrong?

On NTFS formatted drives, there is no requirement to fill in all of the
gaps.. if all of the 'red' bars have disappeared, essentially you no longer
have fragmented files..
