.
Just delete the contents of your Temp. internet folder
before you defrag. And it is normal to have some files
that could not be defragmented.

Jassy;

Like MAP said, delete the Temporary Internet Files.

How to Delete the Contents of the Temporary Internet Files Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;260897

Run Error checking first! Then try to run Defrag again.
Defrag has problems with corrupted files.

Scandisk is now Error-checking (chkdisk).
Open My Computer, double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
Right click your hard drive | Properties.
On the Tools tab, under Error-checking, click Check Now.
Under Check disk options, check both boxes.
You have to *reboot* for Error-checking to run.

For a peek at the log.
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | OK
Look in Application | Listed as Information
under Winlogon, Event 1001
