Definitions 28 days old, NO - 59 days now???

This is what has happened when trying to update this junk. For weeks now it
says in screen 'definitions are 28 days' old yet after running the update it
says (in the balloon) it is up to date? I uninstall and reinstall in the
hope of sorting something out but it has got worse. It now says 59 days out
of date! Sig ver 1.0.0.0 no updates since 25 Jan, but the balloon still says
I'm up to date. I'm fed up with this now, what is the solution? I didn't have
any problems with the Beta 1 but this, sheesh, crap.
