Definition updates

When I download definition updates both from the Windows Update web site as
well as within Windows Defender, I receive a message that indicates the
downloads were sucessful. However, when I open WD it shows the last update as
25 days old. This is in spite of the fact that I have WD configured to check
for updates prior to the daily scan which it appears to be doing. Do I have
the latest definitions?

1.- Version 1.1.1347.0 is the most recently engine,

2- Can you go to Windows Update, do an Express scan, and apply all offered
updªtes
http://update.microsoft.com

Once that is finished, can you verify the update installs? There are many
pre-requisite files which are needed from windows update and signature
update with windows defender will fail until you have these files.

3- Error message after you reinstall Windows Defender Beta 2: “Windows
Defender definitions haven’t been updatedâ€
