Defender updates

I have just downloaded Windows Defender it displays a message saying that
the definitions havent been updated for 75 days. When I tryed to update the
definitions I get the following message: Windows Defender was unable to
complete the update: 0x80220022. The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert
%2 (Volume serial Number: %3) into drive %1. Why is this, since I downloaded
the program from the Microsoft website and have no disk?
