Problems updating Windows defender beta 2

Just installed windows defender, and tried to check for upgrades as it says
it hasn't been upgraded in 76 days. Get windows balloon saying that the
program is connecting to the internet to acquire the definitions, then after
about 30 secs get an error message saying:

Windows defender was unable to complete the update: 0x80240022. The wrong
diskette is in the drive. insert %2 (Volume serial number. %3) into drive %1.

Would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on the problem for me!

Try this this suggestion from Tom Emmelot previously posted in this same
newsgroup:

Uninstall WD again and download this program:
http://download.betanews.com/download/1131569373-2/Dial-a-fix-full.exe
Run this program with all the functions activated.
Install WD again.

Let us know how it works out.

I downloaded the dial a fix program and retried WD but same error came up
I'm not sure if i enabled all the functions of the dial a fix program. do
you just have to individually install each component after its been extracted?

Sorry scratch my last post think i've installed it properly now, the error
doesn't come up anymore but when i press check for updates it doesn't do
anything anymore, the button stays faded like it should be trying to update
it but nothings happenening. Any ideas? cheers
