Defender not updating

I Keep getting the following error 0x80244022 when trying to update Windows
Defender. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the program. Reboots -
what action should i now try and take. Also the comment I get is that the
windows deinitions havent been updated for 69 days. i only downloaded the
progarm yesterday.
