Defender Definitions

I receive a message that definitions etc are uptodate, however, the Defender
home page shows yellow ! Message 'Windows Defender definitions haven't been
updated in xx days? Any help is appreciated...Thanks

Are you on a corporate network where patches via autoupdate come from an
internal server?

Please go to Windows Update and see whether Windows Defender definitions are
offered--apply all critical updates.
