How can I make Windows Mail Beta my default e-mail handler? Whenever I reply
to a web site that provides an e-mail form to one of their employees it
automatically defaults to my MSN. And, as you know, MSN (Hotmail) doesn't
work with Windows mail. I downloaded Beta but it is not the default.

Hi, funny, my new laptop is doing just that..defaulting to windows mail, even
though I want it to default to MSN. No matter what I change per help
inst...etc..it keeps doing it. I would really like to compare set ups
screens with fishjunkie to see what we have different...maybe you will get
what you need, and I will get what I need.

Windows Mail is not in beta. I suppose you mean the Windows Live Mail beta.
Open the Default Programs applet, select the first item "Set your default
programs." Wait for the programs list to come up, select Windows Live Mail,
then click on the first green arrow "Set this program as default."
