I am going to law school and have changed my MS Word to different languages
and so many different fonts. At this time I would like to get it back to
default on everything. Do I have to uninstall the program and then reinstall
to do that? Sometimes things just pop up that I had done previously. Either
a shorcut key or symbol or something. Any suggestions?

I also have to make a radio short for a spot on the radio for a campaign. I
have never used a microphone on the computer. Do I just plug it in or do I
need software for that. I have XP...any tips please. Thank you, Carey Barton

Renaming Normal.dot will get you back to most of the defaults you probably
have in mind (see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm
for instructions). You can also reset the Options settings to their defaults
by rebuilding the Word Data key (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm for instructions).
Note that uninstalling and reinstalling is unlikely to accomplish either of
these things.
