Default spelling from US to UK

eaWord 2000. Will not let me change the default spelling from US to UK. I
have changed the language and also done detect and repair with the CD disk.
Please advise.
 
I had this problem for a long time, I tried to change my templates, reset
langauge from the disks, etc. but to no avail.

This could be corrected simply by changing the Windows Langauge setting
(Control Panel/Regional Options).

Finally I had the langauge code in the registry on my PC changed to UK (by
the company IT support dept) and I have not had the problem since, except
when recieving documents from France!
