Change the default language in Word Professional 2003?

My word language is defaulted to English - US, I want to change it to NZ,,
Aus or UK English.

I have gone Programs, Office, Tools, Languages and tried to change there -
have tried to change through the spelling option but it always stays on US
english.

Any ideas??

Set Windows Regional settings to the version of English that you want to
use.
From the language dialog in Word turn off 'auotmatically detect'
Select the text formatted in US English and apply the required language.
