Default spacing is changing in my signature

I'm running Outlook 2003. I changed my default editor to be Word 2003. Now
my signature is being automatically reformatted from a line spacing of 0 PT
to a line spacing of 6 PT.

How can I stop this from changing my signature? I've tried resaving my
signature and it had no affect.

When creating the signature use SHIFT+ENTER to go to the next line (break
rule) instead of ENTER (paragraph)
