Default public folder's form

P

Phil Curiant

We developped a custom form for a particular public
folder associated with an Agent on the server which
change the message type from ipm.note to ipm.note.ourform.
Everythings were working fine until recently. The event
agent has been stopped (for an administrative reason) but
we are not able to restitute the default folder form.
When I try to select my form (in the general tab of
public folder properties) I have an error message :
"You cannot create an item of this type in this folder".
So, what could I do ?
Thank you for your help.

Ps: Our Server is Exchange 5.5 SP3 and our clients are
Outlook 2000/2002.

What do you mean by "restitute"?

FYI, you can't set a message form as the default form for
a public folder. A possible workaround would be to use a
launcher post form (see
http://www.slipstick.com/dev/olforms/formlauncher.htm) to
launch the message form, which would need to have the To
address for the public folder filled in.
