Default homepage name & where is it saved in system?

anybody know the name and location of the internet
explorer default homepage address as i have an annoying
luckysearch.net app which is resetting my default
homepage to it...i need to change or delete it??

This setting is in the registry under
hkey..software..local....IE.

I have this same problem, IT'S A VIRUS!! It installs
itself on your comp, tracks you, and changes your default
search page and other bad things.

Do a virus scan to kill it. If the problem persists, then
press ctr-alt-del to see what programs are running. Check
out the ones you've never heard of (like ones with numbers
in them)and delete them if they don't check out (kill the
virus before you try this).

Been working on this one for two days just trying to get
my search page off of "search2.com" (a tracking site).

I will tell you if I figure it out.

The problem may be due to a spyware.

Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate
the malware products. Re-apply the above fix if necessary.
