default home-page won't open: another recently visited page does

I've had this happen 3 times now and I can't fix it. A
site that I recently visited comes up when I open IE6 or
when I try to type in my home-page address and click "Go".
It's as if this other site has taken on the identity of
my home-page.In the address bar is http://comcast.net but
the page is not comcast.net!
