navigating through I. E. 7

www.comcast.net is my default home page and it does appear in the address
bar when i click on the I. E. icon; however, the bottom of the open page
indicates that my computer is searching for www6.comcast.net. I get an error
message that this file cannot be opened. HOW do I clear up this problem?

Thanks in advance

In fact, it looks as if it should show that in the Address bar as well.

HOW do I clear up this problem?

First thing that I would try is pressing Ctrl-F5 (for a refresh which avoids
the cache.) Also try opening www6.comcast.net and giving that URL
the same treatment if necessary.

Thanks in advance

Good luck

I said nothing about >ternetexplorer.general< but if you have trouble
with the web interface, then please try a proper newsreader on the
other link I gave you.
