I have 7 computers in workgoup with windows xp os,
with ip address 10.x.x.x and default gateway for my
network is 10.57.7.1.
My all computers are assessing terminal server over
through remote server. Now if i start using internet
on my pc, immediatly it stop the terminal server
connection, if i try ping the IP address of my remote
server it gives "TTL expired" Error.
Now I am not able to use remote terminal server over my
private network and intenet togather.

please suggest.
Your suggestion will be appriciated.

moot

just a thought ....

when terminal services are running and the internet is
closed, try opening up command prompt and typing "route
print" the opening up the internet connection and
doing "route print" again

how do you open up your internet connection - dial up??

When you dial out to the Internet your active default gateway changes to use
the dial-up interface (modem). Are you clients on a different subnet than
the PC you are terminaled into? If so, you need to create static routes to
your private lan to allow your PC access to the Internet and private LAN at
the same time.
