I have 3 PC's connected via Internet Connection Sharing of Windows XP
Professional (installed in all 3 PC's). I want to disable one PC from using
internet while allowing it to use File & Printer Sharing. I use Workgroup
sharing

Mr. Doug Sherman answered:
If you give the PC a compatible, nonconflicting IP address (192.168.0.x) and
no default gateway, it will still be able to share files but it will not be
able to access the Internet.

My question is where do I specify these settings: no "default gateway". I am
pretty layman in these matters.

Go to the Network Connections folder;
R-click the LAN connection, and select Properties;
In the list of items, scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP ), and select
it;
Click Properties;
It will be set for an Automatic IP address by default.

Change it to 'Use the following IP address'.
Enter the following:

IP address: 192.168.0.200
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

( I'm guessing that .200 is not currently in use by one of the other
machines. You can check by going to a command prompt and issuing the
command IPCONFIG on each machine to determine what address it is usinng. )

Leave everything else alone.
OK your way out.
