Gentlemen:

Is there a way to set up Windows XP so that each time when I boot the
computer it automatically opens several selected files from either Excel
and/or
Word files that I work with and modify throughout each day?

I work with these files each day, and would like very much to have them all
open automatically when I reboot each morning - is it possible?

Put shortcuts to the files in the Startup folder of your Start menu.
