DEFAULT CALENDAR

I am using IE6. In Tools/Options there is a PROGRAMS tab that allegedly
allows users to select "which program Windows uses for each Internet
service". I have successfully selected appropriate programs for HTML editor,
email, newsgroups etc but under the heading of Calendar there is only one
available choice - Lotus Organiser. How can I amend this to Outlook please?
I have Lotus SmartSuite on my PC but do not use it, preferring MS Office.

Thanks.

Well, since you don't use it, uninstall Lotus SmartSuite. Then make sure
that you have set Outlook to be the default Calendar from within Outlook.
In Outlook 2003 (or Outlook 2002 -- not sure about other versions), do this
to accomplish what you want:
1) Click on "Tools->Options->Other Tab"
2) Check "Make Outlook the default program for Email, Contacts, and
Calendar"

After you do the above, Outlook should appear in the list of programs in
Internet Options.

Does anybody have an idea how to add an external calendar
entry to the IE6 default programs besides Outlook? I have
to use Notes 6, so I would like to use it not only as the
default setting for mail, contacts and so on but for the
default calendar as well. Maybe registry edit, but what do
I have to add - and where?

Thanx

Joerg
