Default App for Image Files

Hi,

I want to change the default application that Windows XP uses to open an
image file (jpg, gif) when I click on it. Right now it opens in Kodak Easy
Share, but I want it to open in the Windows Picture Viewer. How do I do this?

Thanks

It's on a file extension by file extension basis. One easy way is to, for
example, rightclick a *.gif file, click 'open with', then put a check in the
box "always use this...", and Browse to the app you want to use.

There are several options. Easiest way is to use "Open With". See:
