Deep Freeze

Whenever I try to implement Deep Freeze on my computer, it gets stuck in a
reset cycle indefinately, unless I go to Safe Mode. I believe it may be the
hibernation setting being active for my UPS device that I use. Anyone know
how to get around this? If you are curious what Deep Freeze is, it allows
all settings to be temporary so if you get attacked by viruses, spyware, or
your younger brother, you can just reset your computer, and everything will
be fine.

Have you tried contacting the authors of the program or the makers of the
device? If so, did they give you any insight as to why it's doing that? I
haven't ever seen nor played with one so my first guess would be to check
for power settings, explore with them and see if changing them to other
settings makes any difference. If you want to speed up the testing and save
some time - WinKey + R > type "powercfg.cpl" without the quotes > hit enter.
That will enable you to open the control panel applet more easily.
