decimal laces

Hi (again)!

I have a few text boxes on my form which contain general numbers which are
inputted from calculations from other sources. How can i get the numbers to
be displayed only to 2 decimal places. (iv tried changing the setting in the
text box properties to 2 decimal places but the number in my text box is
still eg, 10.1234455667788 etc whereas i want it to be just 10.23)

Hope to hear back.

Thanks

Try setting an appropriate 'format' property.

Steve,

Not true... setting the Format to Fixed and the Decimal Places 2 will do
exactly what he wants. It's not special it's just on the Properties window
of the text field on the form or did you miss the fact that he was trying to
do that on a form?

Nick,
Your Format should be set to Standard, and your decimal places should be
set to 2.
But, 10.1234455667788 in that format would yield...
10.12
not 10.23
10.23 is not a legitimate formatting of 10.1234455667788.

Steve,

This will be my last response to you directly. I have not attacked you. I
may have had a conversation with you regarding some of your posts but I do
not consider them an attack and I am sorry that you do. When I do make a
mistake AND I have I am HAPPY when someone points it out because I take it
as an opportunity to learn.

In closing, I hope you have a wonderful day however, since you are filled
with anger and suspicion I am not sure that you can.

Stevie, you have really lost it.

These newsgroups are provided by Microsoft for FREE peer to peer support.
You are the only one who has decided that they can ignore that fact.

You have been warned about making threats in the past. This is also against
the stated code of conduct for these newsgroups.

It is interesting that you are threatening legal action claiming that Gina
attacked you when you were the one who actually atacked her. Stevie, you
really are a pice of work.

Oh, me. Once you get "cranked up," you don't back off, do you? Not even
when the original poster responds to you saying there was a typographical
error in his original post (which Gina, very accurately, determined and
answered taking the typo into consideration).

You should keep on reporting her "attacks" to mvps.org. It will, no doubt,
provide you a lot of emotional relief to vent and release your pent-up
frustration -- and I'm sure the good folks there will treat your complaints
with the importance and weight they deserve, especially when they see the
source.

Are you reporting the rest of us, too?

Larry
