Hi,

I just set up my new comp a couple of days ago and today
I have been d/l windows updates.

Now for some reson evertime I start the comp a window
opens saying 'debugging console enabled' and then it
says bot started and connect to 1.xdgz.com.

Does anyone know what it's doing or how I can stop /
correct the problem?

I had the same axact issue. It happened sometime between the 16th and the 17th just after I connected with DSL for the first time. I was waiting to see if you got any replies to this today.

I ran both Symantec and McAfee vscans and neither found this bugger. I found a line in the registry today (while working on installing my firewall, ironically) that I deleted. It went away after that, but I'm not sure of what colateral damage I may have caused...we'll see.

Looking forward to finding out if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any fixes/patches to prevent.
