Deal up connection

Mr. Miller thanks for your reply and concern. I know what you mean to go to
new connection wizzard. But my proplem is when I used this wizzard to get a
new connection the Dial up connection is color grey only and it won't give
me more option only one and that is broad band connection, which I don't
have such connection. Even I used the Cd that my ISP provided to me it wont
work. Device manager says my modemn is in working condition. I can network
the computer the only thing is I can't connect using dial up connection. It
is a window xp prop computer with service pack 2 install. Any suggestion well
be highly appreciated. Thanks again for all your help.

This is the usual culprit:

You Cannot Create a Network Connection After You Restore Windows XP

Re-apply SP2 is the usual fix.
