Deactivate Security Control for Home-based PC

My new laptop is for home use only. I would like to deactivate the
"Password" login when I boot up my machine every day. Please provide
instructions. Thank you.

Thank you for the information. The 'I sure hope you know what you are
doing' comment reminded me of an old "SNL" skit - the one where the IT guy
would make the person who needed help feel like a complete idiot. :(
