2 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR2 1066(O.C.)/800/667 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel memory architecture
* Please refer to www.asus.com or user manual for Memory QVL.
* When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.
Why spend so much on an old mobo ?

Why get 800 when you could go for 1066 ?

Just curious.

Yes it should be fine.

You wanna go from 4-8Gb right? (Going by your spec in profile)

Personally, for you, I think its pointless.

Have you got a 64 bit OS?

if you been to Crucial, then use their RAM checker and it will be correct.

personally, you don't need more ram, especially as you are not a gamer. :)
