DDR2-PC2-6400RAM Upgrade

Thinking of upgrading my RAM on the home PC.
It's a Asus MB P5QL-CM running DDR2 PC2-6400(400Mhz) RAM.
Now have seen on the Crucial website DDR2 PC2-6400 CL=6 DDR2 800Mhz?
Would this run on my pc as it's £85 per 4GB and want to get it right!!!http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT51264AC800

Why spend so much on an old mobo ?

Why get 800 when you could go for 1066 ?

64Bit O/S.
The pc runs ok with 90% of the software i use just wanted to beef it up a bit.
Abarbarian the pc does everything i want it to so why change, dont play games so need to have the latest top specs or the biggest coolest fastest super dooper graphics cards etc etc!

if you been to Crucial, then use their RAM checker and it will be correct.


personally, you don't need more ram, especially as you are not a gamer.
