dcomcnfg.exe always crashes on Component Services -> Computer

Hi apologies if this is the wrong area, so many news groups its a little
confusing.

When I try to view the Computer folder in component services, the window
just closes after a brief pause.

Is this the reason why VS 2003 won't debug as well? And takes about two
minutes to open???
