Apparently, he's right. Whenever someone needs to know how to convert or
rip MP3s, the responses they get are to use CDex or Audiograbber or
sumthin', nobody ever mentions the plethora of tools @

years...I love it, and maybe you will too.

Agreed. It is the most useful tool I own, as it does everything...rips,
converts, organizes and stores and plays. It's not perfect, of course,
but it has such an amount of usability that it is unreal it is not more
popular. And it's FREE!

I completely agree. I have been using it for a few months now and love
it. The interface is also extremely easy to use.

I've used it for years and love it. I nominated it for the pricelessware
list but it didn't get enough votes.

Well I'll vote for it. Downloaded it today after reading such good reviews
of it here, & am running it as I type. Great little program

For what this program does, I don't think there are equal or better
alternatives. dbPoweramp converts from one format to another very simply
including by right clicking a file.. It will convert many different formats
both lossy and lossless. Prior to using this I had mkwact for shn and
another program for flacs. There is also a plug in that lets you record
into any format whatever plays on your sound card. There is other software
that offers some of these features but I'm not aware of anything else this
small and simple that provides the same features.
