Dawn Demo error

I've downloaded the Dawn Demo, copied the opengl32.dll into the \bin
directory, but I get an error when I try to launch the demo - that I have to
have a GeforceFX class card to run it, and under the list of unsupported
features, it reads nv_point_sprite. I'm using the latest Catalyst 3.7
drivers, with a 9500 Pro.

Am I missing something? Anyone come across this problem?

My system specs:

WinXP
AMD XP 2000+ CPU
768MB DDR266 RAM
Catalyst 3.7
ATI 9500 Pro

TIA,
Terence

I had the same problem. I had updated my drivers to 3.7 and also updated DirectX to 9.0B. I thought it was DirectX but it was 3.7. I rolled back to 3.6 and it works fine.

you can run nvidia tech demos on an ati card??

Some smartasses wrote an OpenGl wrapper that allows these specific demos to
run. Extremely well, too.
