The clock on my computer resets itself back 3 hours all by
itself. What is wrong?

Check in
Control Panel
Regional Options
to ensure you have the correct location

It makes no difference. The problem is that the time
changes all by itself.

Steve

double click on the Clock on the system tray and the Date/Time
properties pop up

goto the Time Zone tab and make sure your zone is set correctly for your
location

The zone is fine. The time is fine one day and three
hours behind the next. It even happens in the same day.
It is like someone went in and adjusted the time.

scroll to

Hello
See if you have some time synchronizing utility running in the background.

If your computer is connected to a domain, it might be running Windows Time
service, which automatically synces time with domain controller.
