Database Query Error Message

When I attempt to import an Access tbl via the "Import External Data->New
Database Query" without a DSN, I get the error message below. Can you tell me
how to fix this? I can select "MS Access...", select table, select fields,
but when I get to the final stage to "Return Data to ...", I get the error
message.

Error: The Microsoft Office Access database engine cannot find the input
table or query 'databasename'. Make sure it exists and that it's name is
spelled correctly.

Help, please . . .

I am not sure if 'databasename' is the exact database name, but I would
check for strange characters in it's name or a table/query you are using.
Access may allow stuff the ODBC/OLEDB drivers may not, e.g *_-/\!"', etc (I
don't say these will or won't work it's just an illustration)

That isn't the exact name. However, I discovered this issue when doing the
below training course, exercise 4 -- "Import data: Filter external data
before importing it into Excel." The database name is "Nwind.mdb" and I still
experience the same issue.

Are you sure you have that database on your machine or network and you have
permission to access the file/folder?
