Hello
I bought a new computer. How can I transfer some of the files & folders from
OLD to NEW hard drive?
I do not have a CD or DVD burner on my old computer.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ron
(Turn the computer off when you do this) You will have
to install the old hard drive in your new computer. To do
this you must set the old drive jumper to slave or cable
select. There is a ribbon cable connected to your new
drive leave it connected the way it is along with the
power cable. After you set the jumper to slave connect
the old drive to the middle connector of the same ribbon
cable. Connect the power. It may not be necessary to
mount the old drive in the case, when you do this, as
long as it is not touching any thing (like mother board
etc.) If your not sure about connections go to your old
drives web site, most have lots of info.
Power up and it should see the old drive. Drag and
drop, or copy and paste. You can also leave the old drive
in for a back-up drive.
Have fun Mike
