data recovery after quick format

hi,
On one of these sunny days, I accidently quick formatted my D drive...is
there any chance that i can get my data back?
any help is highly appreciated.

Whatever you do, don't write anything to the drive!! Active@Undelete is
probably the best program to get data back. Come to think of it, you could
try GetDataBack too.

thanks for the replies folks...ill try your ideas ..though Ive used the
machine for ages after that fateful morning...
