Data is always being sent on internet

With all of my programs colsed, is my computer made to
send information every 2 to 3 secconds. I can tell by the
little computer boxes down in the lower right hand side of
the screen. I was wondering where this information is
comming from, or where is it going to?

I would strongly suggest you invest in some computer time and download a
anti-spy program and make sure you have a decent firewall installed.

This kind of activity every few seconds suggest spyware on your machine.

Go into task manager and see which program or files are using the CPU time
when the computer boxes are showing traffic.
If it is TFTP it is probably a virus.
The firewall log will also tell you what program is sending out information
and to what IP address.
