Data Analysis Toolpak

When I look at the Add-In Manager ("Tools, Add-Ins...") I see two entries
for data analysis. The first is "Data Analysis Toolpak" and the second is
"Data Analysis Toolpak - VBA". If I install only the first one I do not get
a "Data Analysis..." command on the "Tools" menu. If I install only the
second one I do get the "Data Anlysis..." command on the "Tools" menu and
when I openb Excel I get a dialog warning me about Excel 4.0 macros and
whether I want to enable them.

Which one should I be using and why are there two? And if I'm supposed to be
using the first one then where are the data analysis commands?

thanks

Maybe you need to check the first one and close Excel and launch Excel again
to have it take effect.

The first one is used by everyone who wants to use the data analysis tools.
The second one is for VBA programmers who want to use the data analysis
functions in their VBA code.
And if I'm supposed to be using the first one then where are the data
analysis commands? <

Try it just one more time: Check only the first one, close Excel, and launch
Excel again.
