damn error message

Dear all,
Having a problem running games on Windows 2000 -
message displayed:

"~.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You must restart the program...".

I am running Windows 2000 on Pentium III with 128MB SDRAM,
with NVIDIA TNT2 video card with latest driver, and
DirectX 9.1, and have few problems with other
applications...

Can anyone help me?

Try this:

1) Re-install the game.
2) Go to game website and see if they have a patch for
W2K, or to see if the game is even able to be run under
W2K.

Try running them in compatibility mode. The video card may not support the
games you are trying to run. Use the compatibility mode in W2K
