I'm trying to play warcraft 3 and whenever I try to start
it up, i get an error message. It says; "Warcraft III was
unable to initialize DirectX. Please insure you have
DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display
drivers are current. DirectX may be found on your
Warcraft III install CD under Options."
I have DirectX 9.0c installed. I downloaded last video drivers and reinstal them few times but nothing...
My video card is Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset
P5GC-MX/1333 motherboard

Pls helP!

I'm pretty certain your motherboard isn't capable of running Warcraft III which is why the game won't start.

Your Motherboard has onboard graphics which are only intended for general computer use and not gaming.

Either disable the onboard video in the BIOS and fit a seperate graphics card or upgrade your computer altogether with Motherboard/CPU/Memory/Graphics card.

Its more than likely your on board video card, on board is never any good for game. Try ebay for a new graphics card, should solve your problem.

Well both really.

Your motherboard is using an onboard gpu to process the graphics which isn't powerful enough to handle WC3.

So, as I mentioned earlier, buy a seperate graphics card, fit it, disable onboard grafix in BIOS and play away.
