D-link USB hub keeps dinging

Every hour or so I will get the MS sound of a usb device
being removed and my usb hub lights will go off. Under a
minute later, the lights come back on and the sound of a
usb device being installed happens. Any ideas?
 
is it on the hour? maybe its a power problem with the usb.
check your drivers cords ect..
