I have loaded XP home after installing a 160 G slave. I now get the message
(D:\is not accessible) Underneath that I get (the wrong diskette is in the
drive, insert volume serial number: into drive D:) All trouble shooting says
the drive is working. What change do I need to make for this to go away.
Weird...Thanks

Hi SuperT,
Try to configure your system to recognize the HD in the BIOS, but first can
you see it in the Device manager and is it SATA HD.
Good luck

yes. Ther is about 13 g of cad soft ware there. I noticed that Agent had
crashed while I was downloading a large file. Could this effect the access?

Information is sketchy - regarding "I have loaded XP home after installing a
160 G slave" - (note slave) - did you install xp on this drive? Evidently
the computer does not boot into XP - true?

NO, I didn't dual load. at one time I could see D: and the stuff on it. It
worked fine until the Agent Crash.

Ok I formated the drive with Western Dig tools. and reloded xp. Works fine
now. Thanks
