D: drive shows up twice in windows explorer

I have the following drives:
A: = floppy drive
C: = 80GB SATA (Boot drive)
D: = NEC 3520A CD/DVD DL RW
D: = NEC 3520A CD/DVD DL RW
E: = 160GB IDE
F: = Samsung CD/DVD

You read right. D: shows up twice. Why? How can I get rid of one of them?
TIA

Device Manager, Click View - Tic/Check "Show Hidden Devices".
Expand DVD/CD-ROM Drives, if more than one instance of the
same device appears or one is shown grayed-out, uninstall the one
grayed out or both if neither is "Dimmed", Reboot and allow PNP
to re-detect the single unit.

Thanks, I figured it had to be do-able.
