'D' drive missing!

Hi! My mom woke up one day and her 'd' drive just
disapeard! She has NO idea how this happend and so far
NO one can help her! Even on hold hours with the people
at Gateway couldn't help her! Does anyone know or have
ANY idea on how something like this can happen?? HELP

If you are referring to her CD-ROM, then I am also having
the same problem. It would appear as though the drivers
for the CD-ROMs have become corrupted and XP will NOT
allow you to reinstall! I am getting quite frustrated
with this and am being forced to remove the "Hot Fixes"
to see if it clears up the problems. Thanks, M$, for
another quality product!
