D-drive issue

When I view items stored on one cd I have no problems, but when I switch to a
different cd the items that came up on the first cd will not go away and the
new cd items do not come up at all. I tried closeing "my computer" and still
the same items came up from the first cd. So far the only way to be able
bring up items from a different cd is to conduct computer restart. This can
not possibly be the norm at least I hope not.

Youre running which version of Windows?

if you have the newer keyboard, hold the windows key and tap 'e' now click
on your CD icon, it should show what is there.

then do a LEFT click on the CD icon and pick Eject. put the other CD in.
close the door. wait about 20 seconds and now the Volume name should be
there as the new name, and the old data folders are not there?

up at the top there is an icon picture, box with blue at top and lots of
dots inside, dont know what its called. click on that it will give you
options, Or click on View and try the different settings there

all of your folder view options are changeable. you do not need to reboot
ever to do this.
