I set Cyrilic encodings in the Mail Format. I can type Cyrillcs in the
message body, but still cannot type into the Subject field. All incoming
messages with Subj in Cyrilics are shown as ???
How do I fix it?

Thaks, Brian. The resource you indicated says that Outlook is designed to
show ????
It looks like MS people who did Outlook, did not know about people speaking
languages other than the American. Or did not realised that an email program
is supposed to work above the American borders.
Those who did IE seem to be aware of that awkward fact.

Yes, Outlook Express e-mail program does not have such problem.

But if you:
- want to use MS Outlook as your e-mail program
- use ONLY English + Cyrillic (i.e. do not expect to receive e-mail
with German umlauts)

then you can do that - just change your System Code Page to
'Cyrillic, 1251' - this code page (as any other) does include
all ASCII symbols including the letters of English alphabet.

How to change System Code Page?
ery easy under XP/2000 - just a mouse click.
See "Full Russification" section on my site.
